If so, join the Ethiopian Housing Association project!

The Ethiopian housing cooperative project is organized by the Embassy/Consulate of Ethiopia in an effort to bring Ethiopians residing in the United States and other countries back to their home country.  The project offers non-resident Ethiopians land upon which to build a home in Addis Ababa.

The intent of the project is to battle the effects of “Brain Drain” on Ethiopia, as well as combat the serious housing shortage in Addis Ababa.  The project also strives to strengthen the ties between Ethiopians in the Diaspora and their home country.

Through this scheme, there are currently ------- housing associations comprising 12 -32 beneficiaries each.
